Eternal is a strategy card game from developer Dire Wolf Digital. Designed to take the best elements of Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone, and Hex and combine them all into one game, the game looks to fix the balance issues that its competitors often experience. The game is developed with the assistance of competitive CCG players, allowing the developers to adjust the AI and make it appropriately challenging. Eternal boasts dozens of enemy decks with “boss level” environments. It is billed by the developer as having unlimited choices in gameplay. Players can freely mix cards to create their perfect deck. In addition to the promise of unlimited deck customization, Eternal also promises frequent updates that will add new cards and additional content.
