Gamigo’s Gloria Victis is a free-to-play open-world medieval MMORPG that combines features from games like Mount & Blade and PlanetSide 2 with an atmosphere reminiscent of The Witcher. Take on a variety of roles: soldier, knight, assassin, huntsman, and more – or all of them – via the game’s class-less progression system. No need to choose, you can build the character you want and even have hundreds of items to choose from to customize your equipment. Once the character is built, explore the open world and compete against other players for control of territories. Claim land and siege towns and castles. Build your own fortifications to defend against those who would attack you. Just be aware of where you’re traveling, because some areas of the map are riskier than others – although the rewards increase to match. In some of these areas, players will be able to choose the loot they want from defeated enemies, but only within a limited amount of time. The game’s medieval low-fantasy setting will appeal to those players looking for something a bit more realistic. As players explore, they’ll come across forests, swamps, ruins, snowy mountaintops, and more. They’ll also uncover ancient secrets and dig up plenty of treasure.
