Stalcraft: X is an open-world MMOFPS set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The game combines PvP and PvE, with activities like artifact hunting, mutant slaying, quests, and faction wars. It also offers “session modes” for those who don’t have a lot of time to spend in the game. Despite being an MMO, the game avoids the leveling mechanic associated with the genre in favor of players progressing by obtaining equipment. This can be done in a variety of ways, including purchasing it from other players. In fact, one thing Stalcraft: X does take from the MMO genre is the economy, which allows players to become merchants. Stalcraft: X is free-to-play. Players can support the game either via a play-for-time system or by purchasing cosmetics. That said, all items can be obtained by playing the game. Cash purchases will just allow players to get things sooner.
